BAARLE HIGHWAY RAMP
The Roads and Traffic Agency is collaborating with Ghent to replace the
bridges over E40 in Kloosterstraat and Deinsesteenweg. As per N466, the
newly constructed Kloosterstraat Bridge will only allow traffic to and from
the industrial park, redirecting other traffic via Baarleveldestraat.
Unfortunately, this will lead to an increase in the volume of traffic in
residential areas such as Moerstraat, Varendries, and Raapstraat.
Furthermore, there will be an increase in traffic in Baarleveldestraat and
Baarle Center bridge. The primary objective of the replacement is to
enhance access to the industrial zone, Leefbaar Drongen, and Leefbaar
